I have made a previous post with 12 images of action from a baseball tournament I am covering this weekend. Here are some sportraits/non-action shots.

EXIF should be embeded, shot with D300 w/300mm 2.8 some with 1.4xTC.

Geoffry, on number 3/4 I my parents prefer the kid being shot from the front, usuall a sequence but then again that's us northern's who also play baseball in the rain. Number 10 is great, the old coach imparting words of wisdom to his pitcher, you might want to try it in B&W AND add some grain to it.

Gerry thanks! As for playing in the rain whats wrong with that! Especially for us in New England where it rained for the last month. Very glad we had a "clean" weekend!

I did get them from the front as well. Shot through the fence, you can see it in my other post.

As for #10, I think I will try that!

Hey Mike, this was the Cal Ripken D4 region U11 Tourny, held in Douglas, MA. The teams in the tourny were Douglas, Northbridge, Upton, Uxbridge, Marlborough, Milford, and Sutton. Unsure if Westborough had anyone in, but we advertised pretty well, with banners as well as announcements during the game.

Thanks. I get questions from people all the time asking if I know who took photos and where they are posted so if I know someone was shooting for W I'll try and promote it. Often they mean to do something and then forget until later and can't remember.
