p.1 #1 · indoor jumping spider and a dragon with lunch
Hi folks:
I noticed a jumping spider indoors yesterday and took a couple pics before he jumped away. I got lucky (imo) on this one because it has the reflection in pretty good focus. I should probably clean it up a bit.

so later on in the morning i was taking pictures of bees on beebalm and then a dragonfly lands 2 feet from me with a fly in it's clutches. I actually wish i had gotten a wider shot of the dragonfly, but was pretty happy to get both sets of eyes more or less in focus.

finally, an ok shot of a damselfy. I do see a fair amount of these guys so far this summer. The dragonfly yesterday was the second I have seen all year. I haven't had nearly as much of a chance to be outside, but it seems like much fewer bees too.

Thx, Kenny and Eyvind. Nice to hear from you both too. it's been a crazy summer here - was 95 degrees four days in a row in early june but otherwise has been really cool.

Nice shots Tim. There is something about hunter and prey that fascinates. Possibly in the approach to the mystery of death, albeit vicariously. For now.
