Does anyone have experience shooting the Tokina 400mm f5.6 AT-X AF close focus for Nikon?
I was recently downsized from the 9-5 career, and am probably taking my long-time, part-time photojournalism career full-time. That being said, I can't afford a 400/f2.8, yet I do need long glass for soccer/football/baseball.
Will this lens synchronize/talk with my D2x?
Are the CA's/chromatic aberrations with the glass on this, especially when shot digital?
How quick and sure is the autofocus?
Am I better off with an old-school Nikkor 400mm f5.6 ED-IF manual?
