This is my first time shooting a road cycling event. I found the mid-day lighting quite a challenge. But the colorful riders and varied terrain made it interesting.
As some riders truned the corner coming of a lake dam, I noticed two bald eagles feeding in the lake behind them. I'll have to explore that another day!
