Hi all,
Noticing a weird tendency at the moment, I have a few set actions (add saturation, boost contrast, sharpen, save, close - that kind of thing) for the 600 odd images from a wedding that I don't hand edit, but want to put online on the odd chance someone wants to purchase it. I use them by selecting all the RAW files I want to apply it to in bridge, then running a batch process through photoshop (CS3) and the action will work absolutely fine, do exactly what I need it to.
What I'm finding is that, a few weeks down the line, I'll try it again, and what will happen is that the first RAW it opens will convert, for no apparent reason, into a .TIF, THEN apply the first stage of the action, so that when it goes to save, it all goes to pot and doesn't work properly.
Any ideas why something that works when I first create the action then suddenly doesn't work later on, using a different set of files? It's always the same action, and always applied to a selected number of .CR2 files.
