Glenn B Offline Image Upload: On p.1 #1 · Duluth, MN Fireworks 2009 Just thought I would get into the spirit of the holiday and post a few from last nights show. These are taken from the shore of Lake Superior looking towards the entry to the Duluth, Minnesota harbor. The bridge is the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge. This is the farthest point inland ships from around the world can get to by way of the Great Lakes. OwlsEyes Offline Image Upload: Off p.1 #3 · Duluth, MN Fireworks 2009 Glenn, I really like the last two images, as you did a nice job capturing the display. If you don't object, I'd like to offer a creative suggestion... try doing a pano-crop... cut the black out left of the bridge and right of the display. Crop some of the black sky and crop 2/3 of the water out of the foreground. I think that this will emphasize both the fireworks and the character of the Duluth (a place I've visited many many times as well). cheers, bruce Jul 06, 2009 at 01:27 PM
