p.1 #1 · E-session on the Hudson River

I'm shooting Kerry and Rich's wedding in August. Here are a few images from their e-session.... dark and ominous rain clouds moved in, but we were able to escape before the downpour.

I like this set a lot. Very consistent through out. Very cohesive feeling. Was this at the Vanderbilt?

Lovely setting and nice work! I like your choice of processing. Is that the Cinnamon Toast Action from TRA?

No... a combo of pool party and punch out -- then some of my own color and curve adjustments.

his is awesome! Would have like to have seen a little more depth of feild in 2, But you seem to have caught the emotion and feeling of these two. YOu also did a great job of hiding the fact she was a bit bigger than him and I am SURE she'll love you for it!
PS I am a noob so take this as you want!

Thank you for your comments. My goal was to hide that she was a little self conscious about her figure... but I just heard back from her and she loves them.

Nice set. With the exception of #13, you did a great job minimizing her figure. Not a fan of #8, not sure what I'm suppose to be looking at. Different crop, rule of thirds might help here.

I haven't had time to comment on anyone's pictures lately. I wish I could give you an in-depth review and nit-pick everything to death! Instead I'll just say that I really enjoyed this set - you flattered her figure! And I love your processing. I'm a bit of a natural look junkie with my shots - mainly because I have no pp skills, but also because I think it matches my style. but I really admire your use of of post processing!

I enjoy the color shift in #6, I think #7 is stronger than #8. Cohesive set, I like it.

The color shift is actually some roses that I was shooting through.

Nice set. The one that made me go, "Huh?" was #11. What's he doing with his leg? Isn't the female supposed to lift their leg when kissing?

I like the use of textures, something I have not used/neglected for quite a while.

The color shift caused by the roses is class.

Cheers

This is my favorite set of yours. The photos are well composed and overall the processing is good.

Criticism:
- Some feel heavy on the contrast, for my taste.
- I don't like the processing (red) on #6
- #8 doesn't look as good as the others in the set.

Nice work!

Thanks Tom. The "processing" on 6 is not processing -- I shot through roses... so the color is from them.
