It's almost as though someone has cut out the middle of the shot. I'm more of a sunrise person myself. If I'm out in the wilderness, I get up early anyway. Of course, it's the same thing the other way 'round . About the black divider- I agree. Something about black lava rock in shadows during low light situations- a fair amount of detail is lost. I love the feeling the shot has but its just a bit too sharpened for my tastes I was coping with your great environmental portraits but you just getting annoying shooting good landscapes too! Charlie only annoying thing is if you can't wake up early you are.... lazy but if you suggest someone stay up late... it is an outrageous and unreasonable request to ask of such an earnest and hardworking soul grrrrrrr.......
