Great shots Ant, Nice job on the whites, So what do you think about the camera, I know none of these show how it does for BIF but what do you think about the focus in one shot? Have you tried any movies yet? That's a whole new level of "FUN". It can be a trail getting all the bugs worked out of the video workflow also so if I where you I would wait a bit till you get the stills workflow the way you want it, Ron
Thanks Ron
Your DH Brother says there to bright LMAO
Check the histogram and we know He's a bit Dense in the cranium
BIF are a bit tough. I need more time with the camera and a bit of practice. It's a
whole new feel compared to the Mark III > Thankfully I kept my Mark III too.

You should check out Lightroom. I love it and it is much cheaper than your CS4 full version. According to other postings from google, Latest Lightroom reads raw files from your new camera. Then IF you need to do something in Photoshop, you can pass the file in PSD format to CS3.
Another post said to download the FREE DNG converter from Adobe and convert the raw file to DNG that lightroom and your CS3 will read.
I will check out Lightroom. But I really like my ACR and current workflow. So I'll end up giving my Hard Earned Cash to Adobe It is a nice product even though it's priced pretty high.
nice set. This tells me one thing - - stop using CS3 now. But luckily I shoot NEFs (Nikon RAW) & I always start in Nikon Capture NX2 (or NX) & convert from there & go to my CS3 only when needed. Luckily that means I will not need to upgrade. Also, mine was legally purchased so Adobe have to allow us our upgrades.
Excellent series & congratulations to your new toy & sorry about the troubles -
that's what you get for shooting Canon.
I have yet to get a Cattle egret - - boy to I want to find one of them....
Sorry to hear about the problem you're having with Adobe. I was just thinking about
upgrading PS7 to CS3 but I wonder if CS3 wouldn't upload raw files from any current/recent-year cameras. pbase does some compression when you uploaded
your files and I've had the same problem on blue sky on my images. Other than that, superb images, sir.

thanks Hide
It has been a PITA
Nice to know i'm not the only one with the compression problem
Thanks for the comment Hide
Well I admit, I PM'ed you. I thought that you were getting a "Professional Camera", the EOS-1Ds Mark III with 21MP, that is until you returned my inquiry.
I bet Adobe just said, "So Sorry!"
Boy, oh boy! This combination is really excellent, FF and all. Even without your usual PP, the photos are excellent.
I think that the whites are right on, but what do I know. The clarity and composure are perfect.
Larry
You Did, but you weren't the only one my friend. Chad PM'd and Emailed and Called daily. Like a girl afraid her boyfriend was on the phone with someone else
Thanks Larry. Glad you find them to your liking I really like the 5 D MK II

Well BIF are going to be a little tougher
But I"m guessing I can accomplish it
Haven't even tried yet. But I'm getting ready to after this initial euphoria clears off from looking at the static images at full resolution.
Mark II N is already sold. Took about 2 minutes to sell that one

Very nice Ant, but you should have cleaned up the first bird a bit.
And don't worry about Chad's yeast thing - you've had so much brewer's yeast you are immune to that stuff.

Tony said they used the wrong Elmer's Glue Hang in there Ant and BTW my Stress test came back like I was 75 again Good luck with the new camera and these photos are great.

I think the Mirror Issue is on the Old 5 D original version Lou. I don't think that's a problem with the new models. But I may be wrong > That's the way I read it. I think Tony has the original 5 D.
Like you were 75? Well that's good if your older than 75
Heck your only 50 aren't you
