Holy awesome action adventure, Danman! What a rare moment to capture, and you got the whole series of it too! Hats off to you my friend. Congratulations, to say the least. I really like the look of the attempted robbing behavior of the second Kite, with its talons fully extended and eye contact on the mouse. Had it been at a nearer distance and with more details, that would have been a HG for sure! Nevertheless, still something I'd drool over for many months to come.

What? I'm down to SIXTH already? Thought I was first (doh!)
Hi Andy,
Thank you for your kind words. I was just lucky to capture these. Normally I only see one or two the most in one area.

Danno
I'm not sure how much you know about WTK Behavior
The two plane white WTK's are the Parents
The TWO with the brown coloring around their chest and neck are New Babies or JUVI's.
The parent's go out and catch the food and then the parents hand off the food to the babies in MID AIR called a FOOD EXCHANGE

That is an awesome sequence, I am going to email this link to my son at med school, he is nuts about this kind of BIF action. He will totally flip. Thanks much.
Dave
Hi Dave,
Thank you for the nice comments. What med school is your son at?

Pretty awesome stuff! I've never seen so many WTK's in one place. Great find, you sure lived up to your moniker, Lucky Danno!
Thank you much Wing. These were taken in the Coyote Valley. I know I was lucky to have captured this. I was just shooting some IF shots and they were single WTK shots only until I saw this.

Very nice captures Danno.. Wow what a thrill..
So did you really miss Ant LMAO
My PM box is full from people asking me how I got him to stay away so long... and want me to do it again..

Thank you very much Chadda. It was a thrill...I only wished I had a nicer BG and maybe closer shots. These birds always stay far from you. I had to use the 500 w/ TC1.7X which slowed down the AF tracking significantly.
Yeah I missed Ant...maybe
I guess he's just making up for all my posts he never replied to before.
Wow, these are fantastic captures Dan and as good as it gets.
Congratulations not only on getting the shots but on holding your nerve and getting such great shots too. Wow again
