I really love that lens for the DOF control it allows. Here are 3 others images, this time from this year, where I used the DOF to pop up what I wanted ...

A couple of old shots when I was still struggling to make a BIF transition away from the vacant sky background.

Actually, for the sake of veracity, I have also refined the method in a couple of other ways since.

I like it....but the basket is not level wrt the brick wall. Also, the basket is OoF. Also, some light triangular distraction at the right hand edge of the image.
