Thank you. Spring has had a tough time getting here in Wyoming. My favourite subjects are just now starting to appear regularly. Hope the weather improves for you

Gaylon, you go well. Neat shots with the Iris flower especially showcasing why I love the D2H/D2HS.
Thank you. I've enjoyed your images also. You have a good eye.
Gman - that is a great picture. Well seen and love the post work.
BioBanker - you might be surprised how well the old LBCAST files hold up to uprezzing. Certainly not competitive with modern high resolution files but Genuine Fractals produces rather impressive results. Now quit makin' fun of our small pixel counts- we're sensitive 'bout them things

Honestly, I like the files I can get out of the low resolution bodies, but I will be upgrading to a higher res body for larger printing. people can tell me all they want about printing 20X30s with the D2H, but if they printed a landscape or cityscape and looked at it, even taking a step or two back, I don't believe in full confidence that it would look even close to a 12MP or higher body.
That is my single complaint with my D2H and D1H. Everything else has been amazing.

I would have to agree. I'll take the files to 11x14 regularly but that's about it.
I've uprezzed some files for poster print size but the subject material has been friendly towards that goal. Large landscapes and the like are the purview of high resolution files, just no getting around it. Data = detail.

I don't know even 11X14 doesn't look that great to me honestly. But I've made do with it and it has been a great camera. This is with zero cropping, or at the most to fix a slightly off horizon.

-- We got some inexpensive bubble maker swords at WalMart and took them out for some fun. Bubble pictures are always interesting I think. The kids had a blast and I had fun taking pictures and watching them so it was a win win situation. I noticed that some bubble making solutions must have some kind of oil or special substance in it as it produces bubbles with a rainbow of colors in them. --

Wingie, the time lapse of the ocean is off the hook awesome.
Gman1339, the tiger is perfect and memorable. Perfect timing on the yawning pose.
-- The snow has melted enough for the highway to open for the year. The kids last day of school was today so we went on an adventure up to the high lakes. --
