(As an aside, we raise and release these wonderful birds. They will stick around the house for several months before heading out. They make for a wonderful addition to the backyard wildlife. A couple of acres is all you need)
Beautiful find Andy! You captured them so well. Congrats!! for the dedicatons!! How long was it from the time of pairing up to the hatching of the little ones?
Some more fine photography Andy. The detail is just great as is the color. Beautiful print.
BTW Thanks for the PM and yes my web is up but I may have lost some of my sound.
Mind if I PM you about a question on sound with Foxfire browser and Front Page.

Spectacular find Andy, first I've seen of the parent and young together!! Wish for a bit more room left of frame if you have it in #2

Tom,
I do have room in front of the birds to spare as it was a slight crop. The reason it was cropped was because of a 'distracting' object and you know I'm against cloning out stuff.
Thank you for commenting. Glad that I could share this find with you.

Wonderful, congratulation on these rare photos. Your hard work really paid off with these great photos.
Thank you Nhut. Now you know why I wasn't too thrilled about those Tern chicks at Bolsa Chica yesterday huh? (I did get some good shots of them, just won't post them yet).
I guess because I like it more when it's quiet and peaceful so I can enjoy the birds more with minimal human interference.
