The first shot of Scott shouldering that grotesque lens is well done and funny indeed.

Strictly theoretical interest: would Canon still do servicing of the lens ?
Also, how about some duck shots ? Or any shots, for that matter which would allow one to get some idea of the lens IQ.
No matter, in comparison to its collector's interest, the lens optical performance is secondary in importance.

It works with the 1.4x, the 2.x and stacked. As Seth states after f8 you are manually focusing.
