Like every year I build a new setup for in-flight insects and high-speed waterfigures. So this year, a new 3D version with beamsplitter:

Wow... those 3D images are so clear and vivid. And the rig looks like something straight out of a highly classified hi-tech proto lab.

HOLY SH-T. I had no friggin' idea you could cross your eyes and make those 3D. I'm blown away. How dumb I must be!!!! I thought you needed some kind of glasses to view them.

Now I'm even more impressed with that rig!!!!!!

Download the full version from my Flickr site, put it in StereoPhotomaker (free software) and make any of the file types you wish ( .mpo output file for a 3D monitor). Take a 3D full HD monitor (1920x1080) and enjoy the beautiful 3D images without the headache.

I am just getting into macro. I have a Canon 100mm 2.8 and looking to get a flash bracket. I also have a Canon 1.4 TC but it does not work with my lens. Can someone recommend some tubes? Are the Kenkos worth looking into? Really looking at an MPE-65 just really nervous having just got into macro. I certainly think I need a flash bracket and some mini ball heads to try and get started.

Having just acquired the MP-E myself I think it would be a very poor choice for someone just delving into this type of photography. As for TCs/Tubes, any non-Canon TC will mount on the 100 and yes, Kenko tubes might be worth looking into if you decide you're ready for higher mags. That said, and as you've hinted above, your primary focus should be on lighting at this point, IMO. You should be able to gather plenty of ideas digging through this thread alone
