I have sent their customer service second e-mail last night inquiring on the status. As of now no reply yet. So much about customer service.
Their double sling is kind of cool for those dual camera needs, but after checking their blog pages, it looks to me like they're using a simple/standard snap hook with no safety at all? That seems worse than even the first generation BlackRapid because at least they had the tubing there as a kind of locker on the gate. I'd never trust my camera/lenses to a single non-locking snap hook like that. It's only a matter of time before it works itself out of the snap. If it can, it will. As a climber, that's why locking biners were invented, . Or two opposing biners at a minimum, heh...

I have yet to experience any issues with my CameraSlingers.
Just as a footnote, I wrote to the US Distributor on the BlackRapid straps a couple of weeks ago. I never got a response back from them. They too have always been responsive when I was purchasing from them, not so responsive when I was complaining.
For now, I'm very happy with my BR strap with the hook I had found other places. I just wish I hadn't ordered two of the old parts that mount to the camera, and two of the new connectors that came out a month later!

Isn't it interesting how us climbers look at things differently? Hey, I'll be on Zodiac, Tangerine Trip or Mescalito soon.
now that is an interesting design. i like tha keyway that requires the 90 deg turn before coming out. i just wished the second holster was available on its own. i would also like to get a better look at the insert
yes but i like the use of Nylon vs alloy and the secondary holster looks like it might fit a wider variety of belt/strap assys. i sent them an email inquiring on this holster/insert availability w/o the chest rig because i use a tac vest.
Like the system, but I had a cell phone holder that worked the same way. You had to rotate it 90 deg to slip it out and at times it would be pushed up by my leg or something as I was bending down and be pushed out. I would be a little nervous that it would spin as you were squatting or standing and could get bumped out.

ever so slight a weight and dimension difference don't you think? i would kind of hope that it would be somewhat noticable. the lock/unlock point cand be adjusted too.
