Trying something way different for me this week. Never tried an abstract Macro before and not really sure I'm happy with the outcome but here it is, improvement suggestions appreciated.
Thanks everybody for looking and responding I was originally going to shoot a orchid, but thought lets try something a little different. Started with a base layer of white Tacky Glue, then added several different colors of acrylic Artist paint colors (that my wife so generously gave up) I then swirled it all around with a Q Tip lots of trial and error I probably tried 6 or 7 times using a variety of base products such as caulking, paste, etc. still not really the end product I had envisioned but what the heck
Very interesting abstract, Ray! I prefer this one to the first one you posted - something about the color and the composition of the paint. How big of an area are you photographing? I think for a true macro it needs to be a tight close-up of a very small area. Regardless, I like it a lot!

All the best,

Thank you Endre for looking and commenting the whole paint circle covered less than half of a standard paper plate I measured it at about a 3" radius it's a very small area was using 100mm Macro lens focused manually as close as I could get in and still be in focus
