Taken outside my back door with Canon 20D, EF 300mm f/4 L IS lens plus 500D close-up lens, 580EX Speedlite with Lumiguest Ultrasoft diffuser, manual mode, manual focus, 1/250 sec, f/8, ISO 100. For perspective on the magnification, this flower is approximately five-eighths of an inch tall, and only about 5% of the full-frame image was cropped off to eliminate minor distractions on the edges.
