I don't normally submit for WA (though i try to vote), but i felt this might be appropriate. Taken out on a hike last week.The pulled up socks and floppy hat just gave it an "olde" feel for me, so i toned it and softened the focus a little. Not sure about border yet though.
A very nice image IMO. Well composed and processed. I like everything in it (toning, dof...). Altought I think it is appropriate if you read the title I might be hard to guess the relation with the theme without but I really like it as a photo anyway.
I thought i was pushing my luck a little with respect to the title. I was actually hoping for something more appropriate on the walk (flowering fruit bushes, insects, animals etc), but its just too early here. If Fred feels its not appropriate then its not going to surprise me.
Jools, I rather suspect that the only "enforcement" of the topic is by the people who vote. Nothing I know of to stop anyone from entering almost anything, no matter how wildly off the assigned topic.
