Stu46: I like the last portrait a lot. Very cute, well done.

Anyone with pics of 200f/2L with a 1.4x TC ?
Since the 300f2.8LII isn't out and very $$$, I'm thinking about getting this combo.
I posted some a page or three back- the sports photos. I made mention of it. I would say it's OK. Obviously the bare 300/2.8 will be superior in both sharpness and focus speed, the 200/2 + 1.4 isn't terrible either. Shoot at f/4 and the sharpness will be nearly identical to the 300/2.8 at f/4. Sometimes you're just better off shooting with the bare lens and cropping. Thinner DOF anyway

Wow, that's nice. Almost has a tilt-shift look.
Thanks Fast Shadow. When you shoot this lens @ f/2 as a ''long tele'...it really does give that compression and look to shots.I mean these locomotives are gigantic, but almost makes them look model-like.

It's a rainy/lazy afternoon here in southern oregon, so decided to micro adjust my new 200L with the 7D & 5DMkII. Grabbed this shot of my daughter just to make sure the settings were correct. Nothing special (the photo that is - my daughter is more then special ), but man do I love that bokeh!

People with sticks. f/2 and 1/80s. One image out of 200+. This lens is filet mignon and I make it taste like rubber carpet most of the time. I need to step my game up.
