Hey guys, I just designed a new card and was wondering what you think. Please provide detailed comments when you are responding. Website isn't up yet so don't bother looking.
In response to the photography addition comment, this is what the original design was, I figured it didn't really fit and made things too crowded.
Also, this is a change from my current name of "Matt Leitholt Photography" do you like this better or should I keep it the same? I'm just starting out, so it's not a big deal if I change the name now.
Matt, I don't know if you want my two cents or not, but here it is - you should always design in black and white first. The gradients look good at this large size on the monitor, but the effect will be different with your thin type on a small card. I would rethink that. The very light gray of the thin type might disappear also. You can always talk to your printer about that.
I would also consider splitting your card up. Why not have a card for weddings and portraits, one for sports and events, and one for commercial and fashion? This would be especially important in promoting your commercial/fashion business as your clients aren't going to want to sift through sports pics and it might make you seem to unfocused. It would also make your card less cluttered.
I like the name Axlo studios. But using your name would be great too - up to you.
