Jeremy, love your lighting and PP.
Not sure if the numbering sequence is changing, I hope everything matches up.
1) I like it a lot but I'd like it better if she looked into the moment and not aware of the camera
3) I like the expressions here and it's kinder to his chin than 2
5) She looks good, natural, his body language just looks stiff and wrong to me
6) My first reaction to this was very positive, then little things started to bother me, his chin, the tilt, so much of his stomach area
7b) I love everything about this, the lines behind work in this for me
9) Great everything about this but the thing behind them. Her face! Perfect. Their body language, LOVE it.
12) My favorite. You nailed this one to me.
13) I like it a lot. Wish her hands weren't just hanging there.
14)Great expression on him
I've never had the ambition to do this kind of work, but you are making it look fun, hmmm, I don't think I could pull off the required directing.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts on these. A lot of variety in the finals, will toss em on the blog. Definitely will make some changes as per some good crits. TYVM!
Ya wondering why peeps were hatin on #1, but now with reordered images and the last couple of feedbacks I see that the image changed. The B&W is nice I like how she's lookin at the camera. My fave from the set.
#6 and #9 are the duds. 6 because her hands look wrinkly and the light color balance vs sunlight is (mildly) whack. 9 because of the power tower growing out of her head, no getting around that
Mel: just get one of those softboxes on your strobe, should take the edge off the light. May weaken it beyond the point of overpowering the sun tho, so be warned (I'm not sure). Or AB800-Softbox-Vagabond-Jeff setup will def. overpower sun.
