Is a single shot just too much of a snooze? Is that shot itself (now the second one) a bore? Is it cows**t? I want to know if it's stinky. Spare no insults, profanities, whatever!
1st shot is fine, a loving couple. The 2nd shot is just plain fun, with the props and look on the woman's face I imagine 'Oh no we are not having Karaoke at our wedding dear' oh and as usual your lighting is spot on. When are YOU planning to give a lighting clinic to us less fortunate members in the Tdot.
The second shot rocks man... the first one I no like.
With the multiple shadows and the striped shirt, it just makes my eyes go crazy.
Then the odd comp of cutting across his chin and her eye... just doesn't work for me man.
hey Jeremy.. always love your stuff. I agree the first one has a few competing lines & shadows, maybe a B&W would help it a bit.
For the 2nd - I really dig it. Personally I would of loved to have seen it from more of a front angle so the power lines aren't going thru her head. With that awesome wall & scrub grass setting, I would of played that up more (but that's just me and we've already identified the fact I suck. )
hmm i actually really like the first shot unlike what others have mentioned. Looks like a jewelry ad..and the second one is definitely a fun one. I know you mentioned you're not on your regular monitor, but the blacks on this one is too black..
well i'm also no on my regular monitor soo it might look better on others =) carryon then..
x3 now. *bump*. Any cows**t? Thank you all for the comments so far, will def. be rechecking the values of the final images when the new lcd gets in tomorrow.
Crop is a fashion thing, not to everyone's taste for sure. May change that before it goes to the blog, thanks. The client will be getting it at full as below. http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/3554/img9885edit.jpg
even as a fashion shot. seems like either clip him or dont.
also, it's the designer in me, but that tag needs screaming to be kerned properly :P
look at the spacing between the f and a, a and s in fash. and spacing between the e and s and in sess. close those things up. as a teacher of mine used to say, "you can drive a truck through there" :P

I'm gonna leave him for now I think, will try some less and more severe crops tho. Kerning on the type is a great idea (I always hated typography in GD lol), will have to do that. The kerning is definite cows**t as it is.
Stunning shots, on no.3 i wouldnt mind the crop if it was *obviously* mean to be cropped, the trim of the hair just doesnt work for me, love the full shot though.
Dudes got chin city in the first shot along with his portrait. Trouble with that is, he's not even fat. I say, "give me a long neck" at least 8 times during a session. Of the 4 shots here I like 2 and her portrait. 2 is gold. 3 is silver. 1 is lead.
