My man! Wow dude, that's ill. The moon smokes man. I like the transfer from day to night as well.

I've seen your band stuff and this shot needed some Rian love. I love it!! THANK YOU!

Thanks sam! i think its alright! The main problem I have seen with other peoples attempts is that they didn't mask the girl out! Applying global effects doesn't really work with people are involved

All the best

Sam, I loved this image since I first saw it, and Homey's processing takes it to another level, absolutely superb, really works for me.

I can't play with it yet, but thanks for posting this for us to play

Oh wow, I love the dead grass in your first one. Best B&W conversion of the bunch as well.

Actually, the shot you see in my OP IS indeed my take. I know, I know. Vanilla.

Thanks Manchild

Rian's, Tony's and manchild116's are my favorites so far, but I'd have to give the prize to manchild116's first picture. The combination of the dead grass, simple but popping colors, and the fact that it's such a small but significant change from the original makes me love it.

I don't know what you did but it posted huge..

I saved my version at 1000 pixels wide and it posted fine. Not sure what you did though.. It looks like when you posted it made it bigger..

Try re- posting it..

It's a 5D Mark II thing.... time for Camera Raw updates

Can you actually get a high enough version of Camera Raw that supports 5d Mk II with CS3? I couldn't. Appreciate any tips. Right now I just convert to DNG w/ lightroom at import time to work around this.

Nope I tried and tried..
Apparently Photo shop version CS3 will not support 5D II files. It looks like Adobe is not going to update CS3 anymore..
Its their way to get you to keep buying the newest versions.
