Most of the story is on the blog, but I got to work with this couple for the actual engagement! First for me, but this pic isn't about that, but about something cool that happened.
They had already hired me as the photographer. but Jason (groom) had technically not yet presented the ring and questions. We shot that at the airport with the help of Southwest. They met on a Southwest flight, so it was memorable for them.
Southwest saw what was going on, Amanda (bride) went and told them about their story, and they offered to escort us around the airport with full security clearance. It had been raining all day, but sort of stopped for a time and allowed us to get on the tarmac briefly for this shot. 2 shots made into a composite for the panoramic view.

Awesome shot dude. That's pretty cool as well for getting to capture the real engagement as well. You should send it to Southwest and try to make some money from it
Awesome photo. Fun story too. It was especially great you got the full security clearance to take these shots. Normally airport staff jump (not-literally) on me when I even take my camera out in the waiting areas of the airport.
Really great shot. So jealous about clearing security and all that! I dream of shooting in an airport - so many lines and reflective surfaces. Looking forward to the whole set!
