Too funny! Maybe next time a higher angle could be worth a go because in #3 & #4, due to the angle, it could be a severed head. I also agree with the earlier poster suggesting to fake the fridge. Great stuff though!

Fun stuff! Does your camera not have a two second bulb setting? That way you can press the remote and the shutter fires two seconds later, allowing you to easily move your hand out of the way.

Since you all liked what I did, here are a couple more. I like #2 of the 3 as far as a "keeper". It could use more adjustments to the image but I wanted to share it now as I may never adjust it.

#1 - This I only kept because it was my other beagle Molly. She did not cooperate like Amy did

#3 You can see me standing in the way - silly me

p.2 #6 · What's in the Fridge?

Thanks everyone. I'm happy that I had something that was interesting to post as I'm early in this game and have much to learn.

jfinite - I have a wireless remote, but stupid me kept thinking I needed line of site and it took much too long for me to figure that out . With the dog moving I needed more rapid and in 2 seconds the moment could be over.

liamh - I'll keep the higher position in mind next time. I had the camera laying on the shelf but I should be able to try out something higher. I'd probably have to take the flash off the camera and move it to the side to have room on top of the camera, but this was something I had been thinking about - getting the flash off to the side to see it's effect. thanks.

Hahaha. Great stuff. I did something similar with me and a friend reaching into the fridge but this wins. I might recommend also simulating the fridge as the viewer could never tell. Awesome work

I think the last one #9 is the best and should become number one if in a series. It has the most personality and to me looks like a happy and just a little bit mischievous dog has just opened the fridge and is saying "oh boy, look at that and it's all mine!"
