p.1 #1 · Lowepro S&F belt with Think Tank modular or skin components?

Does anyone know whether Think Tank modular or skin components will fit on the Lowepro S&F belt? I already have a Lowepro belt, but know I'm interested in the Think Tank components.

Many thanks.

Don't know for definite, but I've read that the Lowepro belt is too thick for TTP components.
Supposed to work the other way round, ie, Lowepro components will fit on the TTP belt. But this doesn't help you really, does it?!

I guess I'll just have to go to a store to try it out. Thanks for the input anyway

Charles were the systems components interchangeable?

I personally wouldnt use the skin system for weddings. Every piece I have seen has a velcro closure, not very wedding friendly. I use the modulars on a non-tt belt and they work fine.

I have the TT modular system (with the TT belt) and would be surprised if the TT pouches wouldn't fit on another belt--there is a rather generous amount of room. How wide is the Lowepro belt?

The slip lock loops are along the middle of the belt this is the larger deluxe version there is also a thin version.

The TT components fit nicely around the S&F light belt, but I'm not sure about the deluxe version. I think the deluxe version would be a bit too wide...

I have both and I dont like them interchangeably,
Lowepro pouch on TT belt, too much velcro make it stuck.
TT pouch on Lowepro belt, could fit but doesnt fit perfectly.
I'd suggest just get the TT belt and you'll not regret it.

I'm reviving this post because I have the opposite question lol.

I have lowepro pouches that I ordered. I decided I like a zipper version better than a draw string tightened version. I would put them on a pro TT speed belt, or TT steroid belt.

So just to double check, they fit?
but there's too much velcro? like on the lowepro pouches where they attach to the belt or on the TT belt itself? wouldn't velcro on the pouch, where the belt attaches just make it more secure?

I dont know about the steroid belt since I only have the pro belt.
Too much velcro, yes, makes it more secure if thats what you want. I dont want it like that because TT pouches on TT belt, they can be moved around.
Hope that helps.

Yes Skin system has lots of velcro but they can be tucked away so no velcro noise at all.
The way I do it is to tucked them away just about 75% of them so theres only little velcro left and it wouldnt make a lot of noise when we open it.
Of course for 100% no velcro noise, your way is better.
