p.1 #1 · Elinchrom Compacts and Skyport Receivers

I'm thinking about buying some Elinchrom Compacts. Specifically, I'm thinking about buying the BX500Ri which has a built-in Skyport receiver. Anyone know if you can attach an external Skyport receiver if the internal Skyport receiver craps out? Thanks.

As long as the light has a sync jack you can and it does.

I read on another forum that the internal Skyport isn't as sensitive as the external units. Anyone know if this is true?
