Congrats Andy. You are on a roll w/ these recognitions which you well deserved. First being featured as the Photographer of the Month in All About Birds website by The Cornell Lab of Ornithology last month. Now in this National Geographic Great Shot edition. What next Andy??.....

Thanks for the double congrats. Btw, which city are you in? I heard the issue is not so easy to find on newsstands. At the local Barnes & Noble, it was sold out within the first day of release.
Congratulation! Do you have a copy of the National Geographic Great Shot Issue? I want to see it. They're so out at the newstand. Good to see you at BC today.

Hey Dan, thanks again. What's next? We'll see... there's a lot of work to be done in the next little while as I'm preparing for quite a busy schedule. Will keep you all posted when there's something new. I have a feeling there's lots more to come!!

I really do not believe there are jealous people in this forum Andy, and I am sorry for anyone who is... personally, I think the more successful a friend is, the better off we are all... I wish you the best, and hope this image lives on for ever as it should..
Nice shot Andy. We all have those, “dang, I just missed it shots”. You were so lucky to have your camera pointed in the right spot at the right time. It’s always fun to see a well captured shot. BTW, we shoot in the same areas so I too have to wonder about your perceptions of envy and jealousy among your fellow photographers. There are several of you who are quite good (wish I were one of them…) and I learn a great deal from them in our conversations. Some of you are less modest than others but none of them holds themselves out as an expert. All of them have had similar and excellent “lucky shots” that others might wish they too had captured, but to imagine that as envy or jealousy is, I think, unreasonable.

Nate,
Thanks Nhut. I have just the one copy that was sent to me from the Editor. I usually don't take it around outside of the house. Let me know when you'll be at BC again.

There are 13 pages to this post so all I have to say is congrats and it is by far one of the most incredible action shots I have ever seen.
Thank you sir! You've kept it short and sweet.
