p.1 #1 · More fun with raindrops in spider's webs

Not much about in the damp windy weather, so played with some raindrop in spider's web shots- many are pharted. Taken between 2:1 and 4:1 and focus stacked.

Wow! These would work as sci-fi backgrounds if you did'nt know what they were. Very well executed!

Thanks for the comments everyone - much appreciated

Naturexposed - Phart is an acronym coined by a dpreview user for PHoto ART- ie fairly heavy manipulation in PS so the result is more like a drawing or painting. No excuses for doing it other than I like the results with certain subjects.

Beautiful set Brian -very unique!

I'm curious as to why you're not trying to get flower refractions in the drops?

Thanks John .
Very simple reason for no flower refractions- these drops are caught in small webs on the struts of my greenhouse - no way could I get a flower behind them . Luckily the raindrops often catch on debris already caught in the webs which makes them more interesting.

Your works in abstract are very unique, creative and impressive Brian.
Those photos made my eyes keep on the details for many a second.
Thanks for sharing them to us.

Really beautiful and creative series, Brian. Seeing all the imaged you've come up with 'out of season' is really inspiring!

Brian, I cannot believe how much depth, detail and art is in each drop! You definitely get every bit of creativity out of your work! Very creative indeed!
