Yakim:
I was thinking of doing something similar, but am glad I didn't, as your interpretation is far better than anything I could come up with.
Are you still without Photoshop or similar software? You could clean up that dust in PS quite effectively. What about PS Elements or Lightroom? They're not as expensive.

Hi Kevin,
Much obliged for the compliment. I am flattered.
About PP, I don't have any other software other than DPP. The big problem is not purchasing it, it's finding the time to learn how to use it effectively. BTW, this particular shot was not edited at all.

Nice interpretation Yakim. I have spent my fair share on L lenses.
I agree with Teglis that a little post processing would help. Lightroom and Aperature are both very intuitive and require very little time investment to get reasonably proficient, unlike photoshop.

At the risk of sounding stupid, what is the difference between the two?
I almost forgot. I have downloaded Picasa a while ago (v.3 IIRC) and I am using it whenever I need to straighten my horizons. As I don't shoot a lot of landscapes that does not happen often so I completely forgot about it. Can it delete dust as well?

Who can't relate to this. When I first started photography someone on FM said "Welcome to the bottomless pit that is known as photography." How right they were. Nice shot. Getting some software to use with your photos is practical and fun! Good luck with the wife. Genuine compliments and TLC should never go unappreciated.

I'm Jea"L"ous! Great idea, title and image! It would be a bit of a pain to clean this up in an image editing program. Do-able, but might be easier to re-shoot if it bothers you. -Jamie

Alas, lack of time does not permit this. Glad you liked the shot.

Ain't that the truth, Yakim, my friend! Just looking at it, the WA topic doesn't quite jump out at me but it is an interesting take on the WA.
Warm regards,

That's exactly why I used that title. Apparently I have a hard time figuring out the relationship to the WA with other people's pictures so I figured it is not impossible others will have the same problem with mine.
