1DMkIIN, 70-200 f/2.8, 1/200 @ f/4.5, (most) at ISO 500. Two Norman 400's bounced. Shot RAW and converted with minimal post.

Thanks for that set-up post. I've never shot wrestling.

I'm curious as to why you wouldn't shoot from a position just right of what looks like a scorers/judge table, laying on your belly?

This would really clean up your BGs.

I like the look but they look lat over all. I'm also see a hint of blur coming in from the gym lights.

Thanks for the responses. They could all use a little more pp I'm afraid.

With the strobes bounced from the far side of the mat, shooting from the scorer's table side would be the darker side. I did shoot a couple from about 4:00 in the setup shot (over the opposing team chairs), and they didn't work as well.

Ohhhh a single mat...that would be SWEET! I am used to the youth leagues where you have 3,4 or even 5 matches running at the same time.
