I have never found anywhere with free listing to particularly effective. At least not with any consistency. I am not sure if either of these site have free listings. I think Wedding Wire does, and I might even be on there. Is that the Martha Stewart one?
Biggest difference by FAR for reliable leads for us (word of mouth aside) has been theknot.com. Not cheap, but it pays for itself very very quickly.
They're a waste of time and money, IMO. Try concentrating your efforts on building a kick-ass website, working on SEO, and networking with vendors instead.
