p.1 #1 · Three weddings!

Hey Everyone!

I had a friend that I have known since gradeschool call me up and inquire about a wedding commission. It turns out, her, and her two sisters are all getting married this fall. Separate dates and all, one in sep, one in oct and one in december. I have known this family for a long time, so I am working on a package deal for all three. The first two are friday weddings, and in Nebraska, there aren't too many december weddings to compete for the date. So I feel pretty good about giving them a deal. Has anyone done this sort of thing? I am concerned about how I can keep each wedding original looking when they mostly include all of the same people, the same church....different receptions though. I am really excited about the challenge, but I was curious if anyone had some similar stories.

I feel for the parents, financially this is going to be a big blow, but how great it must feel to get all of your daughters married off at once

Congrats on the great opportunity, as this might lead you into much more work (word of mouth) from this family.

First of all, it's all about the people and emotion. I've shot the same places many times, and each wedding does look alike, but only wide angle. ZOOM, get that detail, capture those smiles, tears, etc.

That's what sells amd why they're booking you. They want to remember those moments.

Hopefully, they all setoff their day with different colors and details and you'll be safe. , it'll be tougher if they wear all the same bridesmaid's dresses to save money.

Tell them each to wear a separate funny hat.

I had two sisters this year and two sisters last year. It IS difficult to stay unique, but a really fun challenge. The different reception sites will help you more than anything.

One nothing but B&W, one sepia, and one in color! Problem solved

I'm sure the sisters will take care to have significant differences.

What a great opportunity, congrats!

You'll do fine... they are at different times of the year so that'll help a lot. Um, unless you're in one of the those crazy palces that only has one season!

The sister's differet personalities, likes and dislikes will help you out alot. We shot three sister different weddings (the two youngest were twins). The twins weddings were as different as night and day one twin had all pastel colors and the other twin had bright orange and red. The weddings will be personalized to each individual bride so don't worry, just have fun and celebrate the uniqueness of each person!!!! It is actually really great shooting the same family this many times because your let in on the inside jokes and are really a part of the family by the second or third wedding : )
