While looking at Dave's Nutria image, I wondered how many of you have never seen their teeth.

Now I have seen their teeth and up their nose Holy cow Maggie I am sure glad you weren't showing me their tail

Those are some serious chompers, they look like a couple of carrots to me Great in your face shot, ANT should like that

Oh Ms Bee....I see this often....those teeth look so nasty, but not so bad here.
Good job.

Cajun and south Louisiana indians used to make jewelry from those teeth, maybe still do but I don't know

His dentist didn't do a good job it seems they're orange
maggie I've seen them before in Dave's posts but not like this I though they're smaller! gosh it seems they run up all the way to his brain

I think you chopped off the tail.

What is it about them that makes us want to photograph them?

Nice shot by the way.

I call them Fill Beavers. It seems almost every time I'm there lately somebody is trying to get my attention so I can photograph the "beaver" I wonder if the cold killed some of them off?

Those darn rats are destroying the habitat for the local wildlife with those ugly teethe. They look almost like tusks.
BTW this is a great, sharp close up shot, Maggie. The best Nutria teethe I ever seen posted.

Boy, those are some chompers. I don't know if we have these critters in MO, I've never seen one. Now know that if I do, I don't want to try petting that cute little head.
