In fact, here is the new stadium. It really does look like a spaceship. Taken over this past summer.

I live in East Texas right now. I grew up in SW Arlington, but my wife and I lived off Collins and Mitchell for our first 3 years of marriage. I used to go to climb the stairs at the closed (now demolished) multi level shopping center (next to one of those pawn shops on collins) to take pictures of the stadium in progress...
