Does anyone know of a tool to search for photos on my computer based on EXIF parameters? Google only seems to want to give results for searching EXIF data on the web and FM didn't give me anything at all. Please note, I want to find images based on EXIF data. I've seen the other tool to analyze EXIF data to see what apertures you tend to use, but that's not what I'm looking for.
I use Exposure Plot myself. It can search using EXIF data by lens length, ISO, aperture, and shutter speed as well as camera make and model. Did you want something more than that?
Upgrade to a Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.5 or later. You can search EXIF data directly using the operating system's metadata search functionality including use of multiple search parameters
Yes. When you do a search in a Finder window, you can add search conditions like kind, file size, etc. There is an option for "other." Choose it and are presented a list where you can pick aperture, focal length, exposure time (shutter speed), etc. If you want more conditions, press the plus sign and add another to further restrict the search.
