I registered artfulweddings.ca as the name for my future website. As a newbie to this whole field I thought that that moniker represented my direction and allowed for future growth.
Now I have to build the site....get content etc.
So does anyone have comments on websites for a wedding photography business. Do's and do nots, great existing samples, value vs effort etc.
I'm located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
I did my own website (html) at first cuz I'm also a computer geek. Although I liked what I had done (and so had others), it wasn't quite what I was looking for. So recently I went with a www.photobiz.com template/site...flash and html...and really like it. Tech support is fantastic too!
For samples, just check out the signatures of any of your favorite shooters...Sam, Mel, Tim...

Buy a template site or read through http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com to get an idea of what mistakes to not make if you are going to build your own..
I designed my own in Flash. If you're thinking about doing that, just remember the absolutely critical rule for graphic design work...... You always think it looks better than it actually does.... Get a second (or third) opinion.

I'm not sure if I'm the Tim you're referencing, but if I am, thanks! I'm about to relaunch actually myself, another Blu Template, actually I'll be running 3 blu templates at once. =o)
