p.1 #1 · Eye to Eye

Yesterday I went to see Richard Avedon's "Portraits of Power", What an amazing show that is!
As I came in to this one room I saw this shot and knew that I couldn't let any of the gaurds see me shoot, so I shot this blind from my hip!
The gaurd heard my shutter but could not figure out what I did.
I am looking for all critiques.
Composition wise I am wondering how important the foreground space is in this shot? I kind of like the empty feel and hope to hear what others think about that also.

Awesome Pepperman although I for one cannot ever understand why you can't take
pictures at a picture exhibit. A contradiction in terms!!! That also happens here at SF
MOMA but strangely enough does not happen in Western European museums and Art
Galleries.

Pomposity, self-importance and greed has no end here. Strangling the golden egg
chicken to death. Worse yet is when they tell you that you can't take pictures in
stores. That paranoia is also becoming common too.

I like this image very much. It's easily of the calibre of a fine arts magazine.

Great capture.
I cant decide about the framing; whether you need more context and therefore the moldings, sides of the walls. I think I like the 50/50 vertical split between floor and wall.

Pepperman,

This is a great shot. It is really is one of the best i have seen on this site. I would keep the framing the way it is, I like the woman's shadow on the floor.
