My backyard rink doesn't have ice that nice! Of course some idiot south of boston fell thru the ice on a pond. As for the picture this probably would look really nice in B&W with some tinting. Agree with the comment about the skater, what bum luck he wasn't skating toward you.
I like everything about this shot but the fact the skater is not facing the camera. Almost looks like the player is shooting on net--a nice thing to do
