Spent the better part of the morning driving up and down the main ditch at Bombay chasing Buffleheads. I tried EVERYTHING this morning. From walking up on them. Hiding in the grass. Using the Car as a blind. These guys are skiddish. I know a few are soft, and most of the whites are blown out ( Thats because i havent gotten out recently ). But Im happy i have something new to post. Im gonna throw up more than i usually do. Not looking for any CC but its always welcome.

I havent shot for real in a few weeks. Due mostly to work, hunting season, and the weather here has been crappy everytime i have some free time. So i was a little on the rusty side when i got out today. Im also using a EF 100-300f/4.5-5.6 USM. So my IQ isnt where it should be on a lot of the crops. I did just purchase a EF 300f/4 L non IS and i should have it this week sometime. I will be heading back out and trying them again providing the weather stays nice.
These are also wild birds that are skirting along the edges of a few hunting areas. So they are EXTRA skiddish. Even though the shots were inside a NWR.
