I am just back from a cruise to Dominican Republic. Cruises are tough for landscape photography (but my family loves them). You don't get to land before sunset and end up taking pictures off a shifting ship in the morning and shooting at high noon.
So these are not great. I am posting so that if you go to Samana you know where to go.
These pictures are from Rincon Beach Costa Rica. Handheld.
It is a great spot. If you go to Samana, take a tour there and shoot the beach in the morning. I would like to see it without people at the right time.
Looks like a beautiful place and easy to recommend.
Colors are spot on and each look technically just so.
2 is especially appealing.
Love the play of light on the sand in the first. From a critical point of view, I wish the hut roof didnt overlap so much with the hills in the back, but you would have needed a different angle and perhaps a different time of day.
Third is a bit cluttered and a bit dark and indistinct on the right.
