I like this image. Nice to see. Well made and looks good in BW.

Extraordinary designs of nature like this are fascinating.

Thanks for sharing.

Good title too.

The greatness of modesty.
Fleeting and silent beauty, like the last sunray of the sunset.

Thanks for your kind comments Steady. I find these frost designs very interesting and frustrating to capture as well.

Fleeting indeed, as soon as the air temp warms a bit these wonderful feathers turn into water droplets. Thanks Marcelo.

Wow, very nice. Has the appearance of depth to it that makes it even more appealing.

I've never seen anything like that! Guess we do not get enough frosty weather. I thought I was lookin at a pine tree through a pane of frosted glass.

now I get it - WOW!.

And it's well taken and processed.

Thanks, Ray, Lazlo and Alain. And to add some information, Merv, the frost forms on the inside of the outside storm window. I have never seen it form, it happens on the nights- on some but not all of the windows - when the temps are in the teens or low 20s. I am including a image of another section of the glass with the frost growing a little bit differently in its normal color:

That really is pretty cool.

Sometimes I'd see such patterns in the ice that forms in the dogs bowl (If I get to it before she does!), but never as delicate or intricate.

Merv.
