First up is one of my favorites from 2008. It is the Presque Isle coming in to the ore docks at Two Harbors, MN. She is unique in that the bow is a barge and the stern is a tug. It's hard to tell from the compression of a 100mm lens that it is 1000 feet long. What an amazing sight to watch as the sky became so dramatic. Second up is the harbor light at Canal Park in Duluth, MN.
Thanks Brian, I'm glad I was there and the timing was perfect with the boat getting in to position for the good light. Had I known the light would be so dramatic I probably would have been somewhere else. Sometimes it just works out.
