p.3 #1 · EF 24/2.8... Hidden Gem?

I know you can't really tell sharpness from small pictures like these, but for what it is worth here is a bunch. They are just snapshots from Christmas with family in Sweden, so please do not judge the artistic aspect.

#1-6 are taken with 5D and #7-8 with 450D.

#1 F/4

#3 F/2.8 (Here you can clearly see light fall-off in corners)

#7 F/4 (I think I clipped the highlights when I resized it)

Number 1 and number 4: nicely seen and exposed, 4 especially, I think. Thanks.

Thank you both very much! Can you tell that I enjoy photographing churches? The Nidaros Dome here in Trondheim (not seen in these photos, except behind the roses in #6) is very photogenique and I look forward to explore it with the 24/2.8 now when I have discovered how good that lens is.

I still prefer 35L, but the 24mm is just great. Lovely wide on 5D, and on 450D it makes a really nice light-weight kit for hiking etc..
