p.1 #1 · First D2X shots

They're not much but I'm tired of shooting quarters.

My new-to-me Nikon D2X arrived this morning and I found this little guy eating what's left of my plumeria leaves. First two Sigma 150 w/SB600 flash on front of lens handheld; last two Sigma 150 and 1.4 TC w/R1 twinlite on tripod.

Need more practice with this thing. The AF system will stand some tweaking. It is quite fast. Thanks for looking, comments most welcome.

Looks like it's working fine- prefer the last shot.
One nasty sensor spot to clean off though.

Thanks, guys. Didn't notice that spot until later. Unfortunately, I have to buy an extra cost AC adapter to clean the sensor of this D2X; can't be done on the battery. Bummer!!

Nice photos. Except for high ISO this is certainly a camera that Nikon did real right. Enjoy!

Thanks, davenfl. Agree so far. Think it's a PITA to have to buy an AC adapter to hafta clean the sensor. Oh well.
