Very good shots Phil!I guess the centipede was quite difficult to shot because they are always moving and probably sound weird but I like the first one."Terrific abstract"

The antenna makes a very interesting composition in the first one but that's food for my arwana fish.
Love the last barkfly shot too!! There's a surprising amount of details there.

Well, Phil, it looks like you're off and running with that MP-E! I like the first one too, but the second and third ain't bad either.

Lovely series Phil- esp like #1. Confirm the bark fly ID
Good site here
http://www.brc.ac.uk/schemes/barkfly/introduction.htm
for bark fly info for the UK and a gallery for ID.

I like the fly shots a lot, but the ant ones don't have enough DOF for me. The gray eye on the fly is really cool. Looks like sunglasses.
