I was just wondering of anybody has run cs4 with a radeon ati 4870? I noticed that it wasn't on Adobe's list of tested cards that were compatible with the GPU acceleration features of CS4 (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb405711&sliceId=2#win3). I would like to use this card though and I suspect it would be ok but if anyone else could confirm this, that would be great
Holy cow batman! I take it you are a advanced gamer also? If not then you are way over the top. Your power supply will be working harder then needed if gaming is not your bag.
I see no reason why not unless the DDR5 memory is a problem. Adobe just cannot test every card in the world. If your vendor has a good return policy give her a spin.
