a new toy for x mas, first shots!
these springtails very small, all at x5 mag & cropped slightly
couldnt find any pale bigger ones

floating on water!

Congrats on the Lens Phil -excellent first outing- those Sminthurinus springtails only get to about 1mm max !

THANKS EVERYONE, the only problem i have found so far is finding the tiny black springtails in the view finder, as Brian noted they were all around 1mm in length!
