We purchased a R1900 and are having a few issues with it that we were hoping someone could help with.
1) The printer is cutting off the top and bottom of pictures with printing borderless. It looks like it's about 30 pixels on the top and bottom or about 1% in both directions with the expansion set to 'minimum.' Is there anyway to control this better or any tricks? On landscapes it's tending to cut off important stuff. Maybe it's just something we have to think about when shooting.
I'd imagine if we print with borders the entire picture will print and then we can cut it but that seems like a waste of paper.
2) Even after calibration the prints are quite a bit darker than on the screen. We calibrated with one of the spyder 3 models. To get the same brightness, I would have to push the 'brightness' control in photoshop down to about -60 or -70. I know things are going to look a little brighter on the screen but this seems excessive.
Thanks for all of your help and happy holidays!
Chris
